SOCCER – HIGH flying capital city side Mbabane Citizens will this coming weekend walk away with the E60 000 National First Division First round incentive if they win against former Premier League side Manzini Sea Birds.
The two will meet in an epic clash slated for the country’s Mecca, Somhlolo National Stadium this Saturday. This is as according to the fixture released by the Premier League of Swaziland (PLS) through their Chief Operations Officer (COO) Pat Vilakati yesterday.
Mbabane Citizens have taken the NFD by storm and haven’t lost a match in this campaign, winning all nine matches thus far while their opponents Sea Birds are fourth. The Gcina Dlamini-led side seems to be improving as they had a terrible start to the life in the lower league.
The other match earlier on the day will see Fairview based side Bad Boys take on Tambankulu Callies at 1:30pm.
Meanwhile, at the Tambankulu Stadium, Sikhalo Se-Africa and Hub Sundowns will clash at 1:30pm with Madlenya taking on Tinyosi at 3:30pm.
Down South at the King Sobhuza Stadium, Mahlalini and Hlatikulu Tycoons will host Milling Hotspurs and Amalanda at 1:30 and 3:30pm, respectively.
