RAPPER BAVARAH SIGNS DEAL WITH UNIVERSAL MUSIC AFRICA

RAPPER Bavarah has clinched a deal with Universal Music Group under Def Jam Africa.

Siphesihle Msibi is a singer and rapper born in Eswatini.
He began his music career in 2015, making several stage appearances series including Bushfire Firefly competition.


This is one of the biggest achievements in his career.
He then rose to prominence at Solani’s when he was spotted by Thabo Ngwenya from Def Jam, a Global label that’s headed by Snoop Dogg, a home of Rihanna, Kanye West, Nasty C and many others.


Bavarah hopes that the three year contract will open more doors.
His manager said the deal had already opened some doors for the artist.


“The deal has brought in opportunities for Bavarah and through his music he has attracted major South African artists such as Sjava, Mnqobi Yazo and many more,” he said.
They revealed that he would also be dropping freestyle ‘Ye vari (Re-Up)’ featuring a surprise acts from South Africa.

“Through this partnership, he is looking at going big with current music which will hopefully see him on international platforms,” he added.


“He is signed to Culture Pixel as a management company and signed as recording artist to Def Jam/Universal Music Africa a partnership with Waltz Music Group,” he said.
He said people can expect new culture music with big artist features.


“We also hope being booked in the biggest event Zone6 Venue South Africa. Also a launch that will be curated by Culture Pixel and Def Jam, here in Eswatini details will share soon,” they added.


This is something which is going to change his life and his livelihood.
no one in the history of Eswatini has closed a deal or been signed by such a big label.
