The second edition of the Social Media Award shone the light on upcoming creatives in the country. With over 40 categories, most winners were young and new people in their respective creatives.

Held at Sharma House once again, not only did the awards celebrate young people in the creative space, but those in business, medicine, agriculture and other fields were also awarded for their hard work.

Winners of the night include singer Mvelo, Tik Toker Mumu Berry, comedian Mcola Lohlebako Scotty Grain, Syfo Msutfu, Dr Seth and many others. One of the highlights of the night was the appreciation award given to Business Eswatini CEO E. Nathi Dlamini.

Dlamini was given this year’s appreciation award by SwaziBoy Entertainment. Accepting the award, Dlamini thanked the association for such a recognition saying would have not been able to do what they did without all their partners. The award was in appreciation of the work by Business Eswatini to help the entertainment industry, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This also includes helping local artists run the Jovel’Industry campaign to help reopen the arts industry. Celebrating their wins, most of the winners could not stop appreciating SwaziBoy for the awards. They said such a recognition would go a long way in promoting their brands.
