A British company Geo Group Marketing has been tasked with the international representation of the Eswatini Tourism Authority (ETA) In an intention to award listed by the ETA tender committee on the Eswatini Public Procurement Regulatory Agency (ESPPRA), the company was awarded a contract worth over E1.3 million after a total evaluation score of 93.6 per cent.
The company was awarded the tender ahead of another British company, Kamili Discover African Gems, which was not evaluated after scoring less than the required minimum score of 70 per cent. The company was awarded the tender in terms of Section 45 of the Public Procurement Act No.7 of 2011(the Act), following a competitive bidding process.
Contract It must be noted in terms of Section 45(2) of the Act, that the above contract award decision does not constitute a contract. Further, in terms of Section 45(4), 46 and 47 of the Act, all tenderers who submitted bids were notified that a period of 10 working days would be allowed for submission of any application for review from the mentioned date of the first publication of this notice.
