Amanda Du-Pont Amanda du-Pont is an actress, television presenter, and commercial, fitness model, voice over artist and business woman. Amanda has acted on numerous television shows such as Muvhango, Generations, A place called Home, City Sesla, Intersexions, End Game, Task Force, Tarryn & Sharon, Kowethu, Mzansi Love and Single Guyz. Amanda has also acted on CBS drama “Life is Wild” aired on hallmark in the USA and South Africa.

Amanda has filmed feature films released in cinema’s like Hear Me Move, Between Friends and Final Cut. Amanda has shot numerous commercials for Old Mutual Bank, ABSA Bank, Vodacom, Hippo, Shower to Shower and FIFA World Cup. Amanda has graced numerous magazine covers over the years such as Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Womans Health, Grazia, FitLife, Truelove, Conde Nast Garden and Home that featured her home. Du-Pont was also an Adidas fitness ambassador for years.

Du-Pont has also presented numerous shows such as The Real Goboza, BET A-List, Biting About,Man Cave and Come Duze. Amanda shares a strong passion for business and aims to always empower herself and those around her.

She designed her own line of shoes and collaborated on a line with Footwork. She has released her own limited edition backpack with international brand Sprayground. Amanda has bagged a host of impressive collaborations with high-end brands such as Rolls Royce, McLaren, Emirates, Turkish Airlines and several international luxury resorts. Amanda has an impressive reach of 5.3 million followers across her social media platforms.

She uses this reach to inspire hope and build faith to her audience. She aims to empower those around her through positivity. Amanda has started a series called Moments with Mandz on her Instagram which is purely dedicated to uplifting others and empowering them with the tools to achieve their dreams. Amanda has a Bachelor of Arts degree from The South African School of Motion Picture and Live Performance.

She is also a New York Film Academy graduate in Acting in Film, the academy awarded her a scholarship for excellent performance at an arts convention in Florida where she was spotted performing and representing South Africa. Amanda is a Greenpeace Global Ocean Ambassador. She is passionate and loves the ocean.

She is doing all she can to raise awareness about the danger our oceans are facing due to over fishing, plastic pollution, climate change and deep sea mining exploration. She set sail on the Arctic Sunrise into the deep sea to Mount Vema.

Together with a team of researchers, scientists, marine biologists and divers they captured research on this mission to submit and to pave the way for a strong Oceans Treaty to save our oceans. Amanda was also a speaker at last year’s Shift Conference at Wits University. She believes we can secure Africa’s future one mind at a time!

This for her is purpose work, sharing what she has learnt and continues to learn along the way to help transform the careers and lives of youth. Amanda has led various community projects, which include collecting donated clothing and its distribution to the homeless.

She has also done various cookouts for the homeless and delivered food parcels to the homeless and disadvantaged. Currently on Netflix Amanda plays “Ashley” on the original Netflix series “Shadow” and is on the film “10 Days in Sun City” available globally in 190 countries. She plays the role of “Lelo” on “Skeem Saam”, which has a viewership of 7.9 million and is available in 20 francophone countries. Ashe recently introduced; lelive skin care (pronounced leh-lee-veh).

The name was inspired by Amanda's unofficial swazi name, and means 'of the nation or world', which was a perfect fit, because lelive is first and foremost about building a strong community that they support, listen to and are guided by.

The first campaign, made by Africa, is a thank you letter to the community on social media which helped them build the range – deciding everything from the ingredients to use, values to uphold and packaging – as well as being a celebration of what makes us, as Africans, truly unique.

The entire range has been formulated to be kind to you and the environment, using ingredients (which are 95 percent natural and up to 5 percent plant-identical) that are sourced responsibly with local ingredients being celebrated throughout the range, and the packaging (which is mostly aluminium due to its recyclability) avoids the use of plastic wherever possible.

They're also vegan, cruelty free, dermatologist tested and reef safe! Nomzamo ‘Zamo’ Nomzamo Dlamini, better known by her stage name ‘Zamo’ has been singing since she was six years old.

She realised she wanted to pursue music and acting as a career. Growing up in a family inspired by music and a deep church background really motivated her to become who she is today. Like many other famous and successful artists, she started singing in church.

Singing was always her dream and passion. When she was 15 years old (2005), she recorded her first demo and it became a hit on Swazi radio and that kick-started her career. Her career as a musician picked up in 2011 when she was featured on SABC2’s Afro Café. The young Nomzamo got invites to perform at events and weddings.

At 21, her first album titled ‘Injabulo’ was released through South African recording label Universal Music. A music video followed featuring one of her songs ‘Lobola’ which was played across South African Music Media Platforms like SABC 1, Soweto TV and Channel O. She has graced many African stages and theatres, sharing the stage with many well-known musicians and actors, such as Judith Sephuma, Mbongeni Ngema, DJ Cleo, the list is endless. She has performed at The Bushfire Festival, Simunye Fun Fair and Swaziland International Trade Fair.

She also featured on SAMA Award winner DJ Sdunkero and DJ Steavie Boy’s albums. In April 2014, she became an official member of South African leading mass choir Joyous Celebration.

She became the second Swazi to become part of the choir following Avis Ndlovu who formed part of the choir’s recording of Joyous Celebration Chapter Six DVD. That same year, she was part of the cast in one of the Ekasi Movies ‘Jackpot Mathambo’ where she played the Role of Lerato. She was also featured in ‘Isibaya’ smile sound track. Zaza is not only an artist, she is also an actress and has been featured in No: 43 Mbongeni Ngema’s Musical, where she took the lead role. Zamo Dlamini has opened her own salon in South Africa. Dlamini posted a couple of pictures of herself in her beauty studio and the people she has worked with, which include Sjava, Nomcebo Zikode of ‘Jerusalem’ fame, Ntando Duma and many others. The singer revealed that after five years of being in the make-up industry, she finally found the courage to open her own salon. “After five years of working and interacting with many greats, facilitating and teaching for almost a year I have found the courage to give birth to my first born Spotless_Byzamo. The singer thanked a couple of people that have helped her through her journey, including Sjula Dlamini who is a well-known broadcaster, producer, director and voice over artist. She also thanked Ted Magerman, a South African writer, producer and director. The beauty studio is available for shoots, weddings, music videos, and corporate events, agent for group bookings and for all other make-up needs. The news was welcomed with joy by Dlamini’s fans and the singer received congratulation messages from family, friends and many others. A few celebrities from South Africa also wished the artist well. Natasha Tahane, Zoleka Mandela, Nhlanhla Nciza and many more sent their best wishes for the singer. Local artists could not be left behind as they also congratulated the singer and wished her well. Artists such as Mandisa Mamba, Melusi Mndzebele, Touch of Soul and many others wished the singer well. The award winning Zamo last year also met Esther Mahlangu. She was recently featured on South Africa’s duo Black Motion song ‘Can’t deny the feeling’. The song is number 18 on their 41 track album titled ‘The Healers (The Last Chapter)’. The album was released yesterday afternoon on official music platforms. She became the second liswati to become part of Joyous Celebration after Avis Ndlovu who formed part of the choir’s Chapter Six DVD. That same year, she was part of the cast in one of the Ekasi Movies ‘Jackpot Mathambo’ where she played the role of Lerato.
