AS from yesterday afternoon, The Clinic Group does not have any admitted COVID-19 patients. This was communicated in a Facebook post by the Clinic Group. The post stated that this was for both the Mbabane and Manzini Clinics. The Clinic Group Administrator Welcome Motsa confirmed the news and said they discharged their last patient yesterday morning. He said at one time, they had admitted 54 patients, which was their worst. Total Motsa said the clinic had a total of 74 beds, including those in the ICU. He said people should not get the message wrongly and become complacent. “COVID 19 is still there and people must adhere even more to safely precautions,” Motsa said. Recoveries Government, through its official government Twitter page, said the country had recorded a total of 999 COVID-19 recoveries over the past seven days. "As we begin this new week, let us continue to adhere to all COVID-19 protocols. Wear your mask, wash your hands and keep a safe distance," the government said. Recently, the group announced that after the overwhelming month of January, things were normalising and their usual medical services were accessible again. They further thanked the ministry of health and health workers for the commitment and support they had given in fighting the pandemic.
