'SPOKO' NEW SEVEN DREAMS HEAD COACH

SOCCER - FORMER Eswatini international Sibusiso' Spoko' Dlamini has joined National First Division (NFD) outfit Seven Dreams as head coach.

The former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns player started doing his job recently, replacing the long serving Tobias Ntuli, who has since joined Vovovo FC.

"Spoko’ will be with us until the end of the season. He has been mandated to take the team to the elite league," said the source.

The team’s Communications Officer Ndumiso Zwane confirmed the news. "It is true we have acquired the services of ‘Spoko’.

I cannot divulge other details because it’s between the two parties. We are hopeful he will play a crucial role in our quest to gain promotion to the elite league," he said.

Zwane further mentioned that they had retained the services of Young Buffaloes striker Nhlanhla 'Mshengu' Kunene as they would soon unveil other big signings.

"We thank Young Buffaloes for loaning the player to again. ‘Mshengu’ is one of the best strikers in the country.

His experience will help us a lot," he said. The yellow and white outfit has also signed Senzo Dlamini from Lubombo Super League. Meanwhile, the Mahlanya based outfit has veteran players in the likes of Royal Leopard’s John 'Shisa gesi' Gama, Jerome Ntshalintshali, Thembinkosi 'Mbhedze' Dlamini and Sandile Dlamini to mention a few.

The team started the new season on a positive note after beating Rangers 1-0.
