SOCCER – MBABANE Swallows youngster Leon Manyisa is lined up for another possible international transfer.
Manyisa recently joined Swallows on a one-year renewable loan from Vovovo FC.
The promising playmaker is expected to attend trials with South African sideTshakhuma-tsha-madzivhandila ahead of the 2020/21 season kickoff.
This could be a breakthrough for the Lobamba born player as TTM will be campaigning in the Premier Soccer League next season after securing the top flight football status of Bidvest Wits.
A source close to the player asserted that Manyisa is expected to leave the country before the end of the week to try his luck with the Limpopo-based side.
“The player will attend trials at TTM and he is expected to leave soon for a two-week assessment. This comes after TTM have been impressed by the player’s profile, hence they have invited him for trials,” the source said.
The player’s Manager and Vovovo FC Director Sipho ‘Tsetla’Bhembe could not be drawn for comment on the matter after his cellphone rang unanswered.
No immediate comment could be obtained from swallows Marketing and Communications Officer Mancoba Mabuza by the time of compiling the report.
Manyisa previously had a stint with Armenian side FC Van mid last season and he further attracted interest from Highlands Park.
