TEMPERATURES are expected to drop to 16 Degrees Celsius in the Highveld tomorrow.
According to Information sourced from the Swaziland Meteorology Services, tomorrow morning there will be fog, otherwise cloudy with sunny intervals and cold in Highveld.
“Temperatures in the Lowveld will reach a maximum of 22 Degrees Celsius,” said the forecaster.
The slight drop in temperatures will be caused by the few afternoon thunderstorms expected to occur later this evening.
“Tomorrow (today) it will be sunny and warm to hot in the Lowveld, becoming partly cloudy with few afternoon thunderstorms,” mentioned the forecaster.
The forecaster warned the public to avoid using corded phones and electronics such as computers or power tools as the electrical wires can attract lightning.
“Don't use your cell phones during a thunderstorm and avoid washing your hands, showering, washing dishes or doing laundry. Metal pipes in the plumbing can also attract lightning.”
When outside, the forecaster advised that one should take shelter when they see dark clouds or lightning, hear thunder or feel hail.
“Go to an enclosed building, rather than a carport or open garage. Get off bicycles and motorcycles.”
