HEALTH MINISTRY AWARDS E20 MILLION TENDER FOR HEALTH WORKERS UNIFORM

The ministry of health has awarded tender contracts worth over E20.5 million for the supply of health workers uniform for a period of 22 months.

A total of nine companies will share the E20 605 252.50 tender while three emerged as unresponsive.

The intention to award was listed in the Eswatini Public Procurement Regulatory Agency (ESPPRA) website.

National General Suppliers (Pty) Ltd will take a larger chunk of the project tender after being awarded E8 652 850   while Luciano will get E 4 354 500.00 and Burco General Suppliers will supply items worth E2 863 500.

Thomson Distributors received E1 785 000.00 of the tender and E1 409 910 will go to Swazi Bangla Investments. Union Suppliers has been awarded E959 190, Environmental Technology E262 550 while Manikela Suppliers and Investment and Sentra Trading received E258 000 and E59 752, respectively.

“In accordance with Sections 45 and 47 of the Procurement Act, bidders who are not satisfied with the recommendation, are requested to lodge a written application for review to the Principal Secretary, Ministry of Health at the following address  Dr Simon M. Zwane P. 0. Box 5 Mbabane Fax: 2404 7420/2404 5607 E-mail: smz1157@gmail.com.

“The application should be lodged on or before June 5 at 4pm.  No applications for review shall be accepted after the set deadline. For further clarifications contact the Procurement Unit by e-mail on procurement.swazihealth@gmail.com within ten days,” reads part of the document.
