ZANELE MBOKAZI CHEATS DEATH

By Simon Shabangu | 2020-02-21

BISHOP Mpendulo Nkambule’s wife Zanele Ma-Mbokazi missed death by the skin of her teeth when she lost control of the car she was driving overturned en-route to Durban after doing preparations for the upcoming Back –To-The-Cross Crusade starting on Sunday.

The Bishop’s wife was travelling alone in a Nissan Elgrand when she lost control of the seven seater vehicle, which hit the guardrails before rolling and landing into a ditch.

The accident happened on Wednesday morning while Mbokazi was driving past Richards Bay vicinity.

In her social media post shared on Facebook yesterday morning, she said, “#LetMeTestify yesterday (morning) I was driving back from the #BackToTheCross crusade preparations Eswatini. I had a nasty accident around Richards Bay. I lost control; hit the guardrail, then a tree.

The car overturned, then it slided down to a ditch. But God!  I am alive. Ngiphunyulile ogibeni lomcuphi. Thank you my friend Muzi Ngema for rushing to the scene. I could smell death but Mercy said no. Ngobonga ngani eNkosini, ngingenalutho! Clearly my assignment is not finished ngavuka lasathane uzozisola.  #BackToTheCross ngiyabuyela. Nothing will stop the plan of God. I am grateful to be alive.

Thank you for all the prayers and messages. Another chance! Bishop Mpendulo Brian Nkambule, Ambassador's House Ministries,” reads her post.

When contacted for comment yesterday, Bishop Nkambule said he was thankful to God for saving the life of his wife. He said his wife was returning from Eswatini, where they are preparing for the Back-To-The-Cross Crusade.

Nkambule said Mbokazi was travelling to Durban to collect other materials as well as congregants to assist in the final preparations for the crusade.

“This was a nasty accident, the vehicle is a write off, but we thank God that she escaped the accident scratch free with no fractured bones whatsoever.

“But we thank God for saving her life. This is an attack from the devil because she met this accident while doing the work of the Lord. The crusade continues as planned and will start off on a high note with Bishop I. Makamo,” Bishop Mpendulo said.
