BECKY CASTING SHOWERS MISS CULTURAL HERITAGE WITH E10 000

By Setsabile Nkambule | 2019-11-12

BECKY Casting has sponsored the reigning Miss Cultural Heritage 2019 Temanyandza Magongo with a sum of E10 000 and a free registration under the agency.

According to Becky Casting Director Bekezele Dube, she decided to lend a helping hand as she first met the former beauty queen where she found out that they did not have an allowance.

She said as someone who worked with talent and models, she felt it was responsible to show other companies based in Eswatini to support this industry.

“It’s not fair to win a national pageant and still have nothing to show for it. I wish this can inspire more companies and individuals to give or rather sponsor such pageants. If I had more I would give more,” she said.

Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture CEO Stanley Dlamini said the  Becky Casting director on her previous visit had pledged to sponsor the beauty pageant and also register them under her agency.

He said they were happy and grateful that she kept her promise.

“We are grateful that the corporate is investing in promoting our culture and also our quest to professionalise our sector has received a major boost. It’s also noted that for once, our queen shall be getting a monthly allowance,” he said.  He further stated that Bradford also sponsored the reigning queen. The first princess will be getting E3 000 from Becky but will be given in monthly instalments which will be a sum of E300 per month, while the second princess will receive E200 per month and the reigning queen will get E500 per month.
